What’s next for Ted Haggard, DWTS?

Posted in Uncategorized on September 22, 2011 by boydmiller

I am beginning to wonder if these charismatic frontmen don’t orchestrate some kind of sexually deviated behavior as a marketing ploy, to increase their celebrity earning power. Ted and Gayle are now doing “Wife Swap”. Their self promotion  on their website includes pictures of Ted sitting in a field with an open Bible, this is sooooo  phoney(http://tedhaggard.com/index.htmhttp://www.christianpost.com/news/ted-haggard-joins-reality-show-celebrity-wife-swap-56205/).

I guess the new St. James church thing just isn’t feeding the Haggard’s ego sufficiently. I’m still waiting for one of these hypocrites to repent of self-absorption.

Church bondage day on the 4th?

Posted in Uncategorized on July 3, 2011 by boydmiller

Churches all over America today are celebrating the 4th of July and proclaiming this as a “Christian Nation”, with special freedoms. Not the least of which is the protection and tax-exemption the leadership enjoys from the government to enriching themselves in a scam that is illegal in the business world. While most claim to preach “The Gospel” they really don’t, because they don’t believe in true redemption and true freedom, so they rely on the first covenant to structure and trap their contributors into their bondage.  Read this fine article to your flag waving pastor,

and then enjoy your day off with your family and thank Jesus for your freedom.

I guess he didn’t see it coming.

Kenneth Copeland’s Je$u$ is different from mine!

Posted in Uncategorized on June 11, 2011 by boydmiller

Old Howdy Kenneth has labored for years sowing seeds of greed and now his crop is coming in.  Unlike the Jesus in the Bible(Mt 22:21), Copeland’s  Je$u$ hides from taxes and rendering  to authorities.  Just because he rails on the government’s debt doesn’t keep Howdy Kenneth from taking off his ten gallon hat so he can  get  in his mail box looking for a government farm subsidy tax break or some gas well revenue checks.  Copeland’s Je$u$ must be the same one JR Ewing had.  Check out Rich and Donna Vermillion’s latest report about Howdy Kenneth’s finances.

The Vermillion’s are doing God’s work in exposing this devil’s puppet.

The right reverend Robert Schuller says he is to well-educated to believe the Bible.

If you ever doubted if Robert Schuller was a New Testament Christian this should clear it up.

The language of religion

Posted in Uncategorized on March 1, 2011 by boydmiller

Like most of you I grew up in church where it was expected for the pastor/preacher to be a craftsman in the cadence of oration. This skill was and is a requirement for success and has been taken a step further in the black church with the addition of a background beat and accompaniment.  While this practiced and polished talent is entertaining and can stir the crowd and has a tremendous effect on a preachers financial success, it is not a biblical requirement for teaching, or for God’s calling(Moses, Paul?),  and shows how important entertainment is to the church/business model.

The similarity in style isn’t the only troubling thing that seems contrived in the professional pulpit;  another is the over use of some words we seldom use in nonreligious conversations.  Hardly a paragraph goes by in a sermon or broadcast without the word “share”. We share the gospel, we share a word, we share our testimony, we share a verse, we share a song. In normal conversation if we share our lunch,  it means we take our sandwich and cut it in half and give half of it to someone. To share implies to sacrifice, doesn’t it? Why has this word become essential in religious speak?

I remember my first day in english composition. The professor told us to write what we did over the weekend without using the word “I”.  My assignment for you preachers and testifiers is say something without using the word “share”.

Giving to God?

Posted in Uncategorized on December 11, 2010 by boydmiller

The collection, or

It’s a common and accepted practice in the church today for the big box celebrity preacher to proclaim to his audience  that contributing to them or their ministry, is “giving to God”.  Even in the small regional church it is implied that scatching a check to the organization is “giving to God”. Is this supported in scripture? I think not.

Now I’m not saying you shouldn’t help or give to your teachers and those who labor for the Lord and don’t forget to entertain strangers(Heb13:2). Most of you have no problem spending $50 for a seat at a Branson show, but  you don’t claim your “giving to God”,  but rather your paying the performer, which is what you’re doing at your wiz-bang religious gatherings.

He has shown you, O man, what is good: And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and walk humbly with your God? (Mic 6:8)

Remember, God will not honor a charitable gift if you get a tax receipt(Matt 6).

The Shrinking New Testament

Posted in Uncategorized on October 31, 2010 by boydmiller

As the charismatic madness has swept the world and infected all the churches, the New Testament has shrunk to only 22 books. Today’s church worshippers begin with the book of Acts and totally ignore the teachings of Jesus in the first four books. The modern mega-church sermon is more interested in the accomplishments and wealth of a few Old Testament prophets than the words uttered by Jesus. Of course one could hardly expect an honest presentation of Matt. 6 from a man or woman adorn in a $1500 garment standing on a raised platform surrounded by body guards proclaiming their anointedness and spiritual gifts.

The average charismoron is more acquainted with Malachi 3(which wasn’t written to them) than Matthew 5 and 6(which was). Sad!

Shullers are like the Government!

Robert H. Schuller leads a prayer on Sunday, ...

 Check out this story. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101025/ap_on_re_us/us_crystal_cathedral_bankruptcy_2

Sounding like a drunk congressman,  purposing a tax increase to reduce the debt they ran up on policies to keep their power,  Shuller ask his contributors to give more. Are you kidding me? Did the tithers bring all this debt on the church or was it the bad management of the Schullers? If they had any humility or integrity they would beg their tithers for forgiveness and resign.

Phony Pastor Test?

0-hypocrisy

1. Dresses elaborately and expensively?(Matt. 11:8, Matt. 23:5)

2. Begs for money?(Matt. 6:25,31,33, well really the whole chapter)

3. Brags about their works?(Matt. 6;1-4)

4.Prays long extravagant prayers?(Matt. 6;5-13)

5. Makes grand entrances during services?(Matt. 23:6-7)

6. Loves titles?(Matt.23:7-10)

Although there is extensive guidance throughout the New Testament  concerning the conduct of officers in the church and mountains of evidence of the common misuses of such offices today, one can only assume that most confessing Christians/church goers must be poor readers, so I have limited your assignment to only the first book of the New Testament. Enjoy!
