The Law of Love

There is much misunderstanding about the law and pregrace and the law and grace. The ten commandment are not law but rather a discription of sin. The law came after the ten commandments and expanded on these simple discriptions and included the fleshly punishments. The law or the fleshly punishments were abolished at the cross. The new testament reaffirms these commandments,  however the difference being the means of punishment. Jesus dealt with this change with the woman who was caught in adultery(John 8:3). while not diminishing her sin, he rejected the old covenant punishment and forgave her and told her to go and sin no more.

“Do not think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets, I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” Matt. 5:17

What is the summary of the law?

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Lev.19:18, Rom.13:9, Gal.5:14, Matt.22:39

How do we fulfill the law?

“Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.” Romans 13:8

“Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” Romans 13:10

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ,” Gal. 6:2

If love is the fulfillment of the law, and we are to love our neighbor as ourselves then;

1. If you love your neighbor as yourself, would you take their money to enrich yourself?

2. If you love your neighbor as yourself, would you take his wife or her husband?

3. If you love your neighbor as yourself, would you demand they obey you?

4. If you love your neighbor as yourself, would you ask them to borrow to support you?

“If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, You shall love your neighbor as yourself, you do well:” James 2:8

So TBN, Creflo Dollar, Paula White, Doyle Davidson, Benny Hinn, and all other celebrity beggers, you have broken the royal law and are hypocrites and liars.

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” 1John 4:20

  1. Yes! I am so encouraged to read this and realize that others are getting this as well! Maybe other blind eyes will be opened to this very simple and very deep revelation, as we continue to seek the truth without any “help” from man to screw it up for us.

    Blessings,

    Isabel
