Jim Bakker returns to his vomit!
But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in mire.” 2Peter 2:22
Jim Bakker has started over again, how be it on a smaller scale. His Heritiage USA at it’s peak was 4 square miles of property. He now is promoting Morningside, which is about 600 acres on the Missouri side of the border of Arkansas (stinking up the area I live in). Heritage was a theme park, Morningside sounds like an end-time sanctuary. On his show and website he promotes survival items like processed foods and flashlights (he missed the Y2K marketing opportunity due to legal problems). You can buy a condo for anywhere between 80,000 and 350,000 dollars and the community has it’s own backup generators for power when the coming doom arrives.
He has replaced Tammy Faye with Lori (eerily similar with less makeup) and has abandoned the “prosperity” message and replaced it with the “end is near”(Bakker is now 70 years old). Since he owes 6.1 million in back taxes, everything is in either his wife Lori’s name, or one of his partners. Most of his supporters think he was wrongly prosecuted for fraud in the late 80’s, so this is not a real bright bunch of folks.
If Bakker’s sales figures can be believed(why would anyone doubt him?), his end-time hiding place will fill up quickly and it will be the end of time for his followers finances. Maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Hi Boyd, My wife and I live in Florida and belong to a great non-dom
fellowship. I lost my job i Aug. 08 and on unemployment and at 63
was able to get SS my wife works part-time as a hospital “sitter” for
Baker Act,drug addicted,mentally unstable,and elderly (fall tendencies)
We recently visited Moringside and met with Jim Bakker and his 5 kids
missed out on meeting Lori between shows. What we found out is that
Jerry Crawford (Millionaire contractor/christian) built Moringside as an
inventment. He is developing the 600 acres at a christian retreat and
residential conclave. He is dedicated to building phases that are part
of a vision of Jim and Lori ie Masters Commission (large barn) to educate
kids/teens in the word /evangelism/missions etc. They are building a
RV park, community park, townhomes, single homes and cabins (weekly)
use by churches of all denominations. The main building has about 112
condos , We toured the condos and they are cool. We can’t afford to
join as a partner ($1000.00) but we have their books CD’s and emergency
stuff you mentioned. We especially liked the Revelation CD series. Jim
only owns his furniture, two cars and rents his condo from Jerry . Their
neighbor gives them eggs (they have to pick up) Feed the Children
gave them 25,000 lbs of food to distribute to the poorer Osarks folks
their piano was donated and their money raising due to no sponsors goes
to their TV network affiliation. CTN is extremely expensive tens of thousands just as an anti to join. Jim is a great man of God and Lori
is as sweet and down to earth as they come. Her testimony would bring
even Boyd to tears lol. (true). Their five adopted kids are unbelieveable!
Check them out dude I know in my spirit you are a real christian with
and very ticked about Jims past . At Heritage they didn’t have a clue how
to manage the money and accommodation arrangements for partners.
Read “I was Wrong”. My only worry about Jim is he works too hard and
has so much to say about end-times and preparation not just at Morn-
side but everywhere. We had backpacks (6) here in Florida and a food
pantry years ago Jim isn’t the author of this but they do have a cool food
system like rations I had in Nam (good for 20years) He sells them slightly
over cost to support the ministry. God Bless!!

David,
Jim Bakker is an entertainer who appeals to some people. If God sent Bakker to do what he claims God wanted him to do, then don’t you think God would have instructed him in business management? I don’t buy the “I was working so hard for God that I fell into sin” excuse. Bakkers god is a television camera. As far as his good works go(distrubuting food) the bible says, “don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing” Matt.6:3.
I think we are going to disagree about this but I think you for your comment.
God Bless you,
Boyd

Boyd too many doctors, ministers, middle managers and even CEO’s
often lack the management skills and the ethics to truely run things
as they should. Jim having come out of an abused childhood and
lacking focus on money (falling victim to the “prosperity” doctrine)
It was like money on a tree can you dig (I knew that ya could). God
wanted him in the tank in order to get with the real word and bring
him down!!! Jim is a pitch man but in order to accomplish his new
course “teaching the word” he has to fire up all cylinders or they
are history. I’am booked for Christmas and can’t wait its special.
